John's long-time fishing partner and friend, Mike Long was second again. Mike was also second last week in the Aim Marine tournament. This time Mike was able to catch over 16 pounds, but not enough to best his good friend.

John and Jordan will obviously remain atop the Angler of the Year points race, increasing their lead with just one tournament remaining. The next National Bass West tournament is scheduled for May 3rd at Lake Hodges.
